Just as I thought, I’m seeing Dracula! But this is not a tribute for him but to the Irish novelist and short story writer of Dracula – Bram Stoker
Today is Bram Stoker’s 165th birthday but I don’t know much about him. I just checked his biography from Wikipedia. I just felt that this Google doodle is worth sharing.
Just when I thought that my creativity was all gone, I found new passion in playing the guitar. It all started one fine night when electricity went out and I was so bored to death. My boyfriend taught me the basic chords and I can play simple songs such as “Leaving on a Jetplane”, “Horse with no name”, “Buloy” and “Torete”. To be honest, I was kinda amazed with my progress in learning how to play the guitar. Seems that I have hidden talent, too. Though I am not inclined to music and not a good singer, I still find it really fun to play the guitar! And I am checking more chords and new songs to play!
I can’t remember the last time I compose a poem. I usually make one when I am inspired. Different emotions lead me to composing various short stories and poems. Suddenly, I am missing all those times. Those moments when after crying all I do is hold a pen and scribble. The old times when I was able to create haikus, inspiring quotes and more. I wonder where my creative juices have gone right now. I guess, I’ve been preoccupied with serious stuff. Money matters, work, relationships and the like.
I wish to unwind and compose a new poem…
