How many pets do you have at home? What are they? In my hometown, we just have cats and dogs. The kittens and puppies are really lovely and those pets are really sweet each time I visit home. But here in my boyfriend’s place, it’s different. They have hamsters and guinea pigs. Rodents, right?

The pair of guinea pigs had several babies before. Unfortunately, the first set of offspring didn’t survive. And now that we’ve been taking good care of their babies, something terrible happened. Blackie (the black guinea pig) accidentally drowned himself. I don’t know how it happened. We just saw him soaking wet and chilling in the middle of the night. We wrapped him in a dry and clean towel. Tried to comfort him and make him warm. But the next morning, he’s lifeless.

Losing a pet is a sad experience. Still, we invested emotions on that form of life…
